Blackbird is an independent house for production, advertising and talent management. We make the work, run the campaign that carries it, and build the careers at the centre of both — so the film, the media buy and the face on screen answer to one company.

A production company shoots it and walks. An agency sells it and never touched a camera. A manager builds the career and waits for someone else to call. Blackbird runs all three — which means the brief, the shoot, the buy and the talent are one conversation, on one budget, with one company on the hook.
We publish what we do in-house and what we hand to a licensed partner. It's the fastest honest answer to "can you do X?" — and it's the reason nothing on a Blackbird job stops halfway through for a permit, a bond or a licence nobody checked.

The standard
Talent never pays.
Not for representation. Not for listings. Not for headshots, workshops or a place on a roster. Money moves from production to talent, and never the other way. We earn when the artist earns — which is the only arrangement that makes our interests the same as theirs.
A roster small enough that every name gets the whole company.
We sign few, and the ones we sign get production, advertising and management from the same building. Talent never pays Blackbird a fee — not for representation, not for headshots, not for a listing, not for a workshop. We earn when the artist earns.
Managing and booking talent for a commission is a licensed talent agency in California — Labor Code §1700.5. It requires a Labor Commissioner licence, a $50,000 surety bond, and pre-approval of every artist contract form. The licence number belongs in the footer where the placeholder sits. Production and operations for independent adult creators.
We work with adult creators the way we work with any client: we produce, we package, we build the systems, and the creator owns the assets. Blackbird is the producer or the platform — never the performer's representative, and never paid by the performer.
Content production
Sets, lighting, crew, direction, stills. Edited, graded and delivered in platform-ready specs.
Live & webcam production
Room builds, encoder and multi-destination setup, run-of-show. This is live content production — a production service, not representation and not booking.
Channel operations
Publishing calendars, cross-posting, asset libraries, back-catalogue re-cuts, analytics.
Records & compliance
Federal §2257 systems: identity and age verification at intake, alias cross-indexing, consent capture, custodian structure, encrypted retention.
Government photo ID and age verification for every performer before any camera runs, no exceptions. Written scene-specific consent, revocable at any time. Camera work only — we do not broker, arrange or facilitate in-person services, and our contracts prohibit it. Written exposure control plan, protective barriers, hepatitis B vaccination offered, annual training, closed sets. An absolute firewall between any work involving minors and any adult work. Explicit material is never published on this domain.
